  • ERIKS type GV (type C according to DIN) is equivalent to type M, but is a heavy-duty version with a double metal casing. This can be a useful solution with larger diameters in more demanding applications. There is also a version of this type with a dust lip; the GVST (type CS according to DIN).

  • The B18B1 valve cover gasket is a specialized seal designed to fit snugly between the valve cover and the engine's cylinder head. Its primary function is to prevent the engine oil from seeping out and contaminating the exterior of the valve cover or, worse, dripping onto the engine block and other surrounding components. This not only helps in maintaining proper lubrication within the engine but also protects against potential damage that oil leaks could cause.
  • The range of uses of peroxydically cross-linked EPDM includes in hot water and steam seals. EPDM is also very resistant to ageing and ozone. Compared with the usual types of synthesis natural rubber it has good resistance to cold temperatures. EPDM is not resistant to aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbons or mineral oil products. Resistance to chemicals, and also to oxidising agents, is very good. Temperature range from -50 °C to +140 °C depending on type.
