Choose 200 thread count and above - anything less will wear badly, rip and develop holes! Be wary of really high thread counts over 800 which can produce very stiff sheets and duvet covers that are not very comfortable to sleep on and are really hard to iron! We picked 600 thread count for our Egyptian cotton bed linen.
Our recommendation is to use both a flat and a fitted sheet, with a coverlet and/or duvet to be used on top of the flat sheet. For the more travelled customer, who loves all things European, will sleep without a flat sheet, with the duvet directly hovering over them. The caveat here is that it is easier to wash a flat sheet than it is to remove, wash and put a duvet cover back on.
ERIKS
Oil seals go by many names, such as shaft seals, dirt seals, grease seals, lip seals, and many other variations of these. They are essentially simple devices used in rotary shaft equipment to prevent lubricant from escaping and for excluding contaminants such as dust, dirt and water. An oil seal’s most important function, however, is that it protects every type of ball, sleeve and roller bearing in the rotating shafts. The seals also prevent the integration of two different fluids that shouldn’t mix, such as oil and water.
Most ERIKS oil seals, such as the types M, MST, R and RST, are made of NBR as standard.
