Bamboo:Bamboo is an increasingly popular material for sheets and other bedding. It is a synthetic material made from the pulp of bamboo. To create this fabric, the bamboo can either be physically mashed into pulp or chemically processed. In either process, the cellulose of the bamboo is extracted, spun into thread, and then woven into fabric. This type of fabric is known as a viscose or rayon and can be made with a wide variety of source materials aside from bamboo.

Silk momme - As silk fibres are much thinner in diameter than cotton, momme is used instead of thread count. Momme describes silk’s weight and density. The higher the momm, the more strands of silk per 100 yards of fabric, which means that the silk will be higher quality and more durable. Momme measurements range from 11-momme to 25-momme, with 22-Momme the ideal measurement for the best quality silk bedding or clothing.

 It’s also important to consider the bedsheet manufacturer when choosing a bed sheet.  Look for reputable brands known for producing high-quality, durable bed sheets.

A comforter is a bed cover stuffed with fibers or down for warmth and then sewn together on all four sides. Probably the most common bed topper in North America, comforters are available in a nearly endless range of colors, patterns, and styles and are a major decorative accent in the bedroom. Most are made of either cotton or polyester.
